October 6, 201213 yr Hello again Guys n Girls, I have just purchased the Feelthere Embraer Phenom 100. A magnificent aircraft and I cannot recommend it too highly. I have an ego driven issue though, The aircraft comes in three liveries but none have aircraft registration/tail numbers. I would really really like to put VG-CAC on all of them, either tail or engine cowling, but have no idea how to do so. I have been looking at the Feelthere site and can find neither a forum nor a contact us button after several attempts. There are forum sites located after a google search for "feelthere forums" but they all cannot display web page. Can anyone help with this one please??? Thanks again TonyC Tony Chilcott. My System. Motherboard. ASRock Taichi X570 CPU Ryzen 9 3900x (not yet overclocked). RAM 32gb Corsair Vengeance (2x16) 3200mhz. 1 x Gigabyte Aorus GTX1080ti Extreme and a 1200watt PSU. 1 x 1tb SSD 3 x 240BG SSD and 4 x 2TB HDD OS Win 10 Pro 64bit. Simulators ... FS2004/P3Dv4.5/Xplane.DCS/Aeroflyfs2...MSFS to come for sure.
October 6, 201213 yr How do you rate the overall from 1-10. I have been interested in their ERJ v2 for months but feelthere mixed reputation halts me
October 6, 201213 yr I am suprised this plane does not get painted more. I haven't seen any FS9 paints for this Phenom 100 and like 4 FSX paints. I like this plane too, a fun little plane to fly. Although I am like you and I don't really like flying the plane that much without a registration number on it.
October 6, 201213 yr It's a lovely plane, but it would be much nicer if it supported SIDs and STARs. It can only fly flight plans loaded into the default FSX planner. As for the painting, i guess it didn't pick up because not many people know the Phenom 100 and being from Wilco... That why it doesn't support SIDs and STARs. It has aircraft system, just not all of them.
October 6, 201213 yr I know, and i like the plane quite a lot, it's just a shame i can't do those nice RNAV approaches ^_^ CASE: Fractal Terra Silver CPU: AMD R5 7800X3D 5.0Ghz RAM: 32GB DDR5 6000 GPU: nVidia RTX 4070 Ti SUPER · SSDs: Samsung 990 PRO 2TB M.2 PCIe · PNY XLR8 CS3040 2TB M.2 PCIe · VIDEO: LG-32GK650F QHD 32" 144Hz FREE/G-SYNC · MISC: Thrustmaster TCA Airbus Joystick + Throttle Quadrant · MSFS2024 · Windows 11
October 7, 201213 yr Author Quraisy, I have had about 10 flights in this aircraft and at this stage I make the following comments aircraft is incredibly stable and easy to physically fly. the systems are extremely complex (for me) as I have no previous experience with garmin g1000 --- a very steep learning curve. The learning curve is further complicated by not being able to see the control bevels beside the PFD so every aspect of it is trial and error and this will not improve until I am completely familiar with glass cockpits. I have tried to follow the demo flight and have yet to get it off the ground or even to taxi stage as yet. Reason tuning nav 2 ... nothing I have tried works and I cannot change the nav frequency Main or standby. Obviously doing something wrong. The check list is almost nonsensical with a lot of duplications and I believe that rewriting them is probably a good idea. Ie you get into the aircraft check, all the systems and then open the door to let pax in ???? How did you get in and why would you shut the door whilst you undergo start up procedures etc The manual could have been better written with details of what happens when you push this button etc. This may or not be nit picking depending on level of experience. Partially justified with the reasoning that very few people start their sim careers flying jets... But ... The worst aspect of this aircraft is that there appears to be NO support from "feelthere" either in forum form or contact details or access. Other than those brief observations, I am very very impressed with this product which could be so much improved by a little support. Rating 8-9 WOW factor 10 I just love it and I am sure you will too. I recently bought CLS Eclipse 500 too. That is pleasant but not in the same quality zone as the Phenom and their manual is VERY Bad and incomplete. Their forum, whilst it exists, took four (4) days to submit my post and thus far no replies to my queries. This product is NOT recommended by me . Hope that helps mate TonyC Tony Chilcott. My System. October 7, 201213 yr Author The rest of you guys, I have never physically flown anything at all so the SIDS/SATRS/Holding patterns etc are beyond me at the moment and at my age I may never master them. I concentrate just on flying from A to B (just getting there is an achievement LOL) and enjoying my flights. I rarely fly using autopilot and most of my flights are within Australia and flights of about 60-90 mins flying time. In other words strictly amateur stuff. The points is that it is all a learning curve and all my flying has been self taught. I don't think there are many people here in beautiful downtown Blitar in East Java, that know what a "pilot" is (I may well be one of them) Getting back to the tail ident issue, if there is anyone who can supply me with a patch or anything which will put VG-CAC on my tailplane or engine cowling, or even tell me how I can do it, I would really appreciate it. Thanks for listening TonyC Tony Chilcott. My System. Motherboard. ASRock Taichi X570 CPU Ryzen 9 3900x (not yet overclocked). October 11, 201213 yr Does yours pull to the Right on taxi? Or is it the wind LOL, for those you who want RNAV do like me and use FSNav to make flight plans and plot the waypoints with FSNav and save the plan to FS9 then load the plan and it shows up on the GPS........
October 17, 201213 yr "feelthere" either in forum form or contact details or access. quoted directly from the manual, page 43 - Phenom SUPPORT: feelThere forum (registration required): http://forum.iemit.com D. Scobie, feelThere support forum moderator: https://forum.simflight.com/forum/169-feelthere-support-forums/
October 18, 201213 yr Author Scoob, Thank you for that, and for all please let me update you, I spent two days trying to access iemit.com and got the "web page cannot be displayed" message constantly. subsequently, I went to the Feel There" site and eventually found the contact/forum site. Let me please state very publicly that this forum is very active and particularly friendly and helpful. I have solved all my problems/queries with the exception of the Tail number repaint. If anyone here can help me I would really be grateful. Can anyone explain how the default MS aircraft change the registration details simply by changing the callsign details (the same applies to the CLS Eclipse 500) but most aircraft dont. I guess what I am trying to say is that it has to be relatively simple ???? Just cannot work out how it is done. Unfortunately, there does not appear to be a repaint kit on the horizon either but some people on the Phenom 100 site have repainted their aircraft. These people have yet to respond by sharing their knowledge but i remain hopeful. To all the respondents on this topic I thank you sincerely for your input. Scootersm: I believe that with the MS flight planning system you cannot get a response to inserting extra waypoints when flying IFR. The aircraft just follows the normal route (direct or airways etc) I have found the only way around this is to fly VFR and even then I find the system somewhat limited. Does FSNavigator resolve this???..... Re the pulling to the right ... I find that if I cange to the copilots seat and look/face the pilot the aircraft appears to veer left. This could be due to the inbuilt, smelly but effective, jet propulsion system built into the temporary co pilot LOL Thanks again Guys TonyC Tony Chilcott. My System. Motherboard.
