I always found my personal limit for real world single pilot flight was about 3 hours per leg. Anything longer and I just didn't feel like I was sharp enough anymore. Land, get out, stretch, drink water, empty and fill the appropriate tanks (mine and the plane's) and I'd be good to go again. The issue for me was far more than just bladder limits. :-) BTW, three cheers for the Piper guys. You can never tell when a casual looker will become a serious buyer or a decision maker for another buyer and at venues like OSH you REALLY need to be careful about prejudging who you're speaking with. I've spoken at length with Piper reps on several occasions at OSH and they were always among the friendliest and most patient. As a former Piper owner it puts a smile on my face to hear that hasn't really changed. Scott
November 14, 201213 yr BTW, three cheers for the Piper guys. Excellent points, and exactly my thoughts ttocs. The Piper people were simply amazing. To top it all off, the letter and invite I received was hand signed by Simon Caldecott himself (no ink stamp, but a real life ball point pin sig), the CEO of Piper. I'd have sent in the check right then if I had it! I think allot of that is Piper is still small enough to care, and they haven't been bought and sold to different corps though time like some of the others.
