OT: Frugal's World is BACK!

Featured Replies

Wow, what a flash from the past! I remember Frugal from the old Falcon 4.0 days. I'll have to check it out.

Thanks for the heads-up.

I wonder how B Ball ,the NWA 757 captain is doing?

Where have I been? Simming since sub logic days, belong to a myriad of forums, subscribe to so many flightsim websites I can't remember them all....and yet I have never heard of this one.

Ah, I do have Falcon 4, never got to deep into it though. Thanks.

Ahhh, my very first "sim". I loved Falcon4. I remember the fat Falcon 4.0 handbook, omg, that was huge and long. But I learned it back then, and knew my F16 inside out. And I loved doing those missions, some were really really hard! No joke.

I still have that manual along with the "Primas's Strategy Guide" as well.

I'm still flying Falcon 4.0 but the "BMS" version, which is an amazing graphical upgrade to the original sim.

Here's a video I just found showing some of the amazing updates to the graphics:

Well shock the monkey. I cannot believe they actually saved all the data. Nice to see they are back.

FlyAndFight, that video was amazing! The last iteration of F4 I had was AF.

Might have to spring for a copy of the original F4.0, and try out this BMS!

I agree, TracyQ!

I had been away from Falcon for some time and then did some searching around and came across the BMS upgrade. There is actually still another upgrade, separate from BMS, called "Free Falcon". But BMS provided those amazing graphical upgrades and I was hooked. The "easy" settings are no longer available, so one will have to learn the actual A2A, A2G and Radar modes in order to fly the campaigns, but it's definitely worth it.
