October 13, 201213 yr Welcome Aboard! Last night marked the first flight to Santiago, Chile from Miami, in our brand new B767-300ER. AmeriCay has also launched direct service to Paris from Miami, and a wealth of other, shorter flights for you all to enjoy. Speaking of enjoying, the shots, enjoy! We pushed from the J concourse in Miami and as we taxiied to RWY09 in Miami, a water cannon salute to mark our brand new service; Taxiing to RWY09 via Papa and Sierra; Lined up and ready for departure, RWY09; After departure we climb out and enjoy a view of downtown Miami second to none; Fast forward 7 hours and we descend into Chile; Intercepting the ILS for RWY17R, visibility isn't terrific; Field in sight, autopilot disconnected and hand flying to the ground; Runway vacated and a very warm welcome from the local fire service as we taxi to the gate in Chile for the first time; A view of the impressive terminal here in Santiago; At the gate, exactly 8 hours after pushing back from Miami, not bad! Thanks for coming along, hope you had fun! Cayman Airways Virtual : Cayman Airways Virtual Forums : My Pilot Logbook

October 14, 201213 yr Author Thanks very much everyone. ^_^ Both sceneries are LatinVFR and I used this image; http://sitelife.aviationweek.com/ver1.0/Content/images/store/1/13/816029a9-7173-41ee-adf1-2b63d886e8a1.Full.jpg Played with the opacity etc. to create the effect, I placed the firetrucks there myself in both sceneries. Thanks again! Cayman Airways Virtual : Cayman Airways Virtual Forums : My Pilot Logbook
