October 26, 201213 yr Hi captains, After check a lot of FS2Crew videos on Youtube and read quite enough about the addon, finally I've decided to purchase it. Before to begin with the install process, I've reading system specs and #####!!!!... one of the requirement is an english version of Win7. Spanish is my mother language, therefore my Win7 version is spanish. Went into "Control Panel" to change all OS language, but spanish is the only allowed language (maybe because my installed Win7 version is "Home", instead "Ultimate"). I would like to know if there is any solution for this, before reinstall Windows in it's english version??? (...and FSX, and FSX patches, and NGX, and bla, bla, bla, bla, bla............) October 26, 201213 yr Commercial Member Hi Ivan, Your options are: 1. Use Button Control. 2. Use Vistalizer to switch your OS to English (www.froggie.sk) 3. Buy Windows 8, as it allows you to install any language. Win 8 is your best bet. B. York FS2Crew Web Site / FS2Crew Facebook Page / FS2Crew Discord

October 27, 201213 yr Commercial Member Hi Ivan, Yes, I've been using Win 8 RTM as my main OS for the last 2 months with FSX, NGX, FS2Crew, etc. No issues. Works 100 percent. B. York FS2Crew Web Site / FS2Crew Facebook Page / FS2Crew Discord

October 29, 201510 yr Hi, this topic is quite old, so maybe something has changed... Is there solution to use FS2CREW 'Voice Control' on my non-english Vista 64-bit system besides buying Win 8 or above (or Win7 Ultimate)? Ps. I heard that Vistalizator is not quite legal solution... but maybe I'm wrong... Lucas Lukasz Trzaskowski
October 29, 201510 yr Hi Lucas, Regarding Vista I don't know but for my french windows 7 home with english-US pack installed it works currently maybe due to a recent windows update.
October 29, 201510 yr ...my french windows 7 home with english-US pack installed... Hmm, I heard that only of Windows 7 Ultimate users (or higher Windows versions) can install language packs... Lukasz Trzaskowski
October 29, 201510 yr Commercial Member Hmm, I heard that only of Windows 7 Ultimate users (or higher Windows versions) can install language packs... Not if you use Vistalizator. However, Windows 10 is free for most people. If you get Windows 10, anyone can download the English US language pack unlike Windows 7. That is why we at FS2Crew love Windows 10. Windows 10 really opens up the European, non-Anglosphere voice control market for us. B. York FS2Crew Web Site / FS2Crew Facebook Page / FS2Crew Discord
October 29, 201510 yr Hi Bryan, ...not exactly - free Windows 10 is only for Win 7 and 8 users :( (as I wrote earlier, I have Vista) And I read somwhere that Vistalizator is not quite legal solution... but maybe it is not true... Lukasz Trzaskowski
October 30, 201510 yr Commercial Member Vista is a dog. Bare minimum you should be using Windows 7. Windows 10 is ideal. I'd just go buy Windows 10. B. York FS2Crew Web Site / FS2Crew Facebook Page / FS2Crew Discord
October 30, 201510 yr  I have never complained on Vista...but maybe you're right  but I also have doubt if all my addons (GSX, ASN, DX10Fixer, ORBX, etc.) and FSX of course, will work well on Windows 10... ...and even I would have Win 10 PL version, I could install ENG-US language pack, right? I can't guarantee it 100 percent since I've never used the Polish version of Windows 10, but you should be able to download the Eng US region pack. I know other non anglophone countries can. You may want to confirm it with other polish flight simmers though to be 100 percent. B. York FS2Crew Web Site / FS2Crew Facebook Page / FS2Crew Discord

As I said before with my french windows 7 home and English-us mui and lip installed I can us English-US voice recognition (selected in voice recognition panel) WITHOUT vistalizator and WITH my windows still in french ! Just try !
