LSZH Airport

Featured Replies

I would like to see anyone knows why my runways in default LSZH have mounds of land covering them. Thanks

Maybe in your FS9.cfg file you have set either 20 or 21 instead of default 19 for Terrain_Max_ Vertex_Level.

The default airport has a proper flatten so should be immune to things like addon mesh and changes to TMVL.

This points to either an addon for the airport or an addon that has changed the default files.

Double check you have no addons for the area and if you find none try disabling all addons and testing.

Thanks for the responses, but I finally saw in a forum that the AP950150.BGL file in scenery eurw was bad. Replaced it with one from FS2004 disc. Corrected it.

Some add-on scenery replaces the APxxxxx.bgl files in order to get around certain fixed airport parameters like the FS8 inability to change certain navaid properties. You can not delete an LOC or ILS navaid for example to update an airport so they modify the APxxxx.bgl file. Those files contain multiple airports so if two different add-ons replace the same APxxxx.bgl file you have a conflict.

I added a freeware LSZH that caused the problem you describe and found out it replaced that AP file and like you restoring it cured the problem.
