November 17, 201213 yr I now get this streak of ?cloud that runs across the sky. See the attached picture I've tried to reinstall my REX texures, and copied over the Opus cirrus texture file to replace the default one-- no such luck. Mist effect is disabled. Help? Soarbywire - Avionics Engineering
November 17, 201213 yr It's a corrupt or mipped cirrus_overcast03.bmp texture. Opus offers a few alternatives to correct the problem in their official forums, I think. Regards, Al Jordan | KCAE

November 17, 201213 yr Commercial Member Looks like a sharp line there in the sky, could be your sky texture? Did you keep a copy of your \OpusFSX\Themes\OpusWeather.txt file? Cheryl

November 18, 201213 yr Author Argh, now I am getting blocky clouds. I think there is an error with my shaders. I am going to try and reinstall REX and try one more time. Soarbywire - Avionics Engineering
November 18, 201213 yr I think there is an error with my shaders. In this case you may recompile your shaders first. Regards, Mats Weinberger
November 18, 201213 yr Commercial Member No idea about your textures, if I were you I would keep it all simple and turn off any haze, mist or any other fancy effects that don't really work. Also check your cloud draw distance, just in case. It doesn't look like anything to do with the LWE. Stephen
November 19, 201213 yr Author It's rexs fault. I did a full reinstall. Rex doesn't play nice with windows 8. You need to install it in its own directory outside program files and disable UAC in the registry not just the control panel. This disables the window store and metro apps as well. This way Rex now has access to program files. Windows 8 is terrible Soarbywire - Avionics Engineering
