November 25, 201213 yr I have a feeling that within a few years the continued merger of the major carriers in the US, several airports that have been expanded over the past 20 or so years to be major hubs will become simply regional airports. November 25, 201213 yr Author I just remembered KPIT is another former hub that is now dead. Yep - KPIT has a fraction of the movements it had a decade ago. I was in Cincinatti about a year ago, and the airport I flew into (KCVG) was also a former hub that is now almost dead other than a few regional jets a day. Made for a good deal for me as the fares were rock bottom to try to attract passengers and the parking was almost free, it was so empty... But it was sad to see

I can well understand therefore Ian that if your flight was outside those times it would indeed be seen as barren. As you mentioned above we have the choice to increase AI traffic as we see fit. It might not, in that case, be as real as it gets however I, for one, find it more satisfying. ^_^

Sadly, my attempt to alter the AFCAD failed. I use AFX and it is incompatible with the program used to create the original. I know that ADE would probably work but my attempts to use this in the past have been miserable failures. So I now have MS ANG F15s parking at the airline gates and the area in front of the Boeing (formerly MD) testing area is still devoid of the F18, EF18 and F15E production aircraft that could lend it a bit more character as well. If anyone has successfully tweaked the AFCAD, even if just to fix the problem of several GA jets parking on the grass, I'd love to have a copy Ian
