Looks like a Mirage to me... That the report claims it will be the first supersonic commercial passenger airline (cough!) has my cynicometer reading fairly high.

Also apparently it was supposed to be unveiled at Farnborough this year. Was it?

A fully functional model by 2030? Sounds suspiciously like engineerspeak for 'it might work sometime after my retirement, maybe'.

The picture indeed appears to be a Mirage and probably doesn't look anything like this proposed concept. While I'm on the article bashing tour: pick one set of units and stay with it darn it! If you want to use mph, fine, but don't change your mind and switch to metric halfway through.
