December 8, 201213 yr Hi been fooling around with fs9 for so many many years, I'm completely new to FSX. Haven't had any aircraft addons for fsx except some weather engine and ground scenery that come along with both versions. I've had enough with heavies and I see those three fighters are really challenging. They received Avsim Gold Star and I have read all the reviews, in fact, I have read them for several times. I really need your opinions, especially users so that I know how helpful the support is. F-16 from Aerosoft has the friendliest price while VRS Superbug costs $45 and I do not have the FS9 version so I wont get any discounts and I heard MilViz has flight1ish 30 day trial..to me it is a sign of confidence, which is good for costumers Thank you in advance
December 8, 201213 yr I've only got the VRS F18. I just bought it recently too. Superb all around aircraft. The only thing missing (imho) is an updateable nav database... something from navigraph would have been icing on the cake. Favorite things about it: NV through the HUD, hand flying, fps (good performance), visuals are impressive (excellent VC nightlighting etc) | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |
December 8, 201213 yr VRS FA-18. No doubt about it. Apparently they are all very nice products, but the Superbug is just level above the compeition
December 8, 201213 yr Yeah I heard nothing but good things about VRS. I dont know man, many said it was heavy on the FPS
December 8, 201213 yr In that lineup, the Aerosoft plane is the oldest and perhaps less detailed one. This doesn't mean it's bad, but the others may easily outperform it on the textures and features. From the reports, the Milviz is really nice and I can fully support the impression on the VRS, being a very, very good plane in the sim. Framerates are good too and you can even tweak them a bit with the config tool. It also wasn't that expensive and may, for the military pros, also feature that nice TacPac integration (this costs extra though). I mainly run her for carrier ops and that VC plus collimated HUD is a treat.
December 8, 201213 yr All three are very good, but if it has to be a choice,I would go for the VRS bird! Regards. DIMITRI
December 8, 201213 yr you can even tweak them a bit with the config tool. Can you please be more detail about tweaking with the config tool?thankss
December 8, 201213 yr Can you please be more detail about tweaking with the config tool?thankss Everything related to the aircraft, from fuel and stores,vc quality, etc is easily modified via this tool: DIMITRI
December 8, 201213 yr Everything related to the aircraft, from fuel and stores,vc quality, etc is easily modified via this tool: Ok not just fuel and payload but some of those actually customize the settings to increase performance, am I right? Thanks I have all 3. Have to go with the concensus... 1. VRS Super bug 2. Milviz F15 3. Aerosoft F16 You can fire weapons with the Milviz and shoot down AI planes. VRS is adding this with the TacPac add on (still in beta) Flight1 does have the 30 day return. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk 2 I'm not sure why I need those firing missile and shoothing down other planes in FSX as I am more into system and FD, but if it's not too much asking, is our target really exploded and or crashing with blast and flame effects? I mean the MilViz one
December 8, 201213 yr +1 for the Superbug. Just the best fighter add on there is! Not that the others are bad, but they simply can't reach the VRS bird. The only con might be that it's the most expensive plane of those three. Florian
December 8, 201213 yr Ok not just fuel and payload but some of those actually customize the settings to increase performance, am I right? Yes. You'll find those things in the upper left corner of his screenshot. The VC details can be adjusted to a large extent.
