Hi

I just bought this aircraft a few days ago. I am looking for navigation radios, but don't find any. Am I right that this plane isn't equipped with these??

They are located in the two gps units. Left gps would be nav 1/comm 1 and the right gps would be nav 2/ comm2.

why do you need separate radios if radios is included in gps.. There is definitely no LACK of radios.. they are there in the GPS and they work 100% as in real life. Whenever a 530 is installed in a plane the owners 99.9% of the time throw out the old "manual" radios because you have no need for them anymore.! so carenado pretty much are SPOT on with this..!

Hi

Thanx for the info.

I already saw that, butI I am disappointed about the lack of these radios!

This is exactly how it is in a real aircraft with Garmin equipment. Each GNS430 or GNS530 is a "3 in 1" box, containing a COM transceiver, a VOR/ILS receiver, and GPS.

They were designed this way specifically to eliminate the need to have separate, stand-alone COM and NAV units, which frees up panel space, and also simplifies the wiring that interconnects the units.

Huh? As pointed out, the radios are THERE. Garmin 430 and 530 units are commonly referred to as "GPS" units, but they're actually GPS, NAV and COM units. So, this plane, as modeled has dual nav/coms, just as you'd expect. This is accurate, and just as it would be installed IRL.

I guess we're confused at what, exactly, disappoints here.
