December 12, 201213 yr Inside of TOPCAT I see the specs for PMDG's 738 BBJ. Where do I find the aircraft.cfg for this airplane? Angelo Corredino

December 12, 201213 yr Author BBJ2, sorry. Inside of the TOPCAT program they have this plane listed as one to choose so there has to be an aircraft file out there for it somewhere.
December 12, 201213 yr TOPCAT does not include NGX data at all as of yet. What you are seeing, is probably a loadout variant made by someone unaffiliated with PMDG for the original NG. (Strangely enough, there does not seem to be a profile for iFly, while they did actually release BBJ versions of their NG) --Peter Fabian

Well it is nothing that PMDG have released yet. (Hopefully they will)....... Have you got any BBJ repaints ??? Could that be the cause ?? December 12, 201213 yr I once read (on here I believe) from a PMDG staff member that they do hope to release a BBJ equivalent to their NGX product, but it wouldn't include things like a virtual cabin etc, just upgraded systems, fuel range etc to suit the BBJ. Texture Artist · Screenshot Developer
December 12, 201213 yr Author I do have some BBJ repaints but i also have my Eaglesoft Citation X that is no where to be found in TOPCAT so its not reading anything from my hanger. Everyone talks so highly of TOPCAT but they only have a handful of planes with specs for them. Thought this program would be more developed.
December 12, 201213 yr Thought this program would be more developed. They are supposedly going to get back to working on TOPCAT after they finish delveopment on PFPX. TOPCAT is, I think, the only utility that calculates takeoff and landing performance numbers. So I think that it is up there on the list of must-have products (that is if your aircraft is on the list). Kenny Lee"Keep climbing"

They still mention it now and again along with the ER and MIL versions. No mention of how far along they are though....... G Gary Davies aka "Gazzareth" Simming since 747 on the Acorn Electron
