August 4, 200421 yr Wow! GA traffic generator is a really sweet program, definately worth checking out if you haven't already and like GA AI!! I had seen a few rave about it here and wanted to check it out, d/led it, but never really set it up....till today. I'm not a novice with AI by any means, but wanted to try it as time is limited for me.I installed, set it up, ran it, compiled and there is GA EVERYWHERE!!! LOLNow I just need more variety of AI only GA aircraft. Thanks to Mike Cronin and Henry Tomkiewicz for the multi LOD GA ones that are out, just need some repaints for em. Off to get some reapints for the default GA. (if you guys are reading this, a Beaver, a Warrior, an Aerostar, a King Air B200 and some biz jets would be awesome!!!) Thanks again for enriching my simming experience!!!!Regards, MichaelKDFWhttp://www.calvirair.com/mcpics/PBTMCa.jpgCalVirAir International VACalVirAir International Best, Michael KDFW
August 4, 200421 yr Aeroworx is supposed to be working on an AI Kingair B200. I asked on their forum the other day on that... s'posed to be part of the first patch. Im looking forward to it because I HATE that awful B350 that is the default airplane.Eric AND
August 4, 200421 yr This is a beautiful little program. I am using many of my GA planes, but they are just too heavy to have a lot of on any ramp. As the smaller count planes are made, I'll swap them out. It is nice to see the selections though. This is a brilliant program. Thanks Marcus, again!! :)Don
August 4, 200421 yr Isn't it great! BE WARNED: Ever since installing I've gone and bought two GA plane!!!Loving it:-jumpy Cheers,Boone
August 4, 200421 yr You're absolutely right, Michael. This is a gem of a program and a wonderful gift from Marcus. I'm only surprised that it took you so long to try it ;) Thank you, Marcus. Great contribution!!
August 4, 200421 yr There is a very good email in this forum about the aircraft to be used for AI which don't kill the fps. Check it out. I think it is about a month old now.Shez Shez Ansari Windows 11; CPU: Intel Core i7-8700K; GPU: EVGA GEFORCE GTX 1080Ti 11GB; MB: Gigabyte Z370 AORUS Gaming 5; RAM: 16GB; HD: Samsung 960 Pro 512GB SSD, Samsung 850 Pro 256GB SSD; Display: ASUS 4K 28", Asus UHD 26"
August 5, 200421 yr Author I did see that post Shez and while it was great of him posting it, I have found long before, that most of the ones he listed (Mike and Chucks) are still to heavy for AI. I loaded 12 repaints I found of the 172, 6 of the baron, 4 of the King Air, 5 of the 182s and 3 of the 182Rg from FS2002, 6 caravan repaints, 3 of the new AI PC-6, 2 of the AI cessna 402, 2 of the AI beech 1900, 2 of the AI beechcraft 99, 2 of the AI DHC6, 4 of the lear. all from the sites, in addition to several of the AI raytheon bizjets from Eaglesoft. I then used ACman (aircraft manager) from Martin Wright to empty all the aircraft from the aicraft folder except for the ones mentioned, ran it and I now have 4-6 times more GA AI than before (lots of twins!), with hardly a hit on FPS at all.yeah, Naji, time has been a factor, otherwise I would have tried it sooner! August 5, 200421 yr Not sure which post you are refering to Mike. I was refering to the one which points to using only low poly count default a/c for AI. It works for me. How does AC Man work? Removing all those other aircraft from FS helps in increasing the efficiency of AI? Let me know how this works.ThanksShez Shez Ansari Windows 11; CPU: Intel Core i7-8700K; GPU: EVGA GEFORCE GTX 1080Ti 11GB; MB: Gigabyte Z370 AORUS Gaming 5; RAM: 16GB; HD: Samsung 960 Pro 512GB SSD, Samsung 850 Pro 256GB SSD; Display: ASUS 4K 28", Asus UHD 26"
August 5, 200421 yr Author Hey Shez, might have been a different post, I saw one that was kinda long and detailed about using Mike Stones and Chuck Domes aircraft for the AI ones, I'll look and see if I can find another post on it.I use ACMan to help with loading and orginizing my installed aircraft in different folders, so that only a select few are in the aircraft folder. Just works out that since the program reads the installed aircraft and pegs all the GA you have installed as AI GA, unless you configure each one, I just used ACMan to remove the non AI models and then ran the program, a real time saver for me.My airports now look like the GA ramp in your KSNA scenery!
