August 4, 200421 yr I did some very thorough research on this ... - talked to scores of r/w B737 pilots- read my way through thousands of pages (flight manuals, flight crew training manuals, management reference guides, ... you name it)- dated a few r/w 737 flight attendants :-cool - hey, even paid good money for extensive training time in a TT&S full motion flight simulatorand all of a sudden it dawned on me - there's something seriously wrong with both the PMDG and Ariane 737 - in fact, even the MS default 737 suffers from the same weakness they don't actually fly :-eek But I'm almost certain I have it pinned down - it's the MS FS flight engine, ... that must be it ... :-mad --------OK OK - only 15 posts and yet another feeble attempt at being funny. Guess David Letterman still won't have me as a guest on his show (prefer Jay Leno anyway) My dear fellow simmers - buy whatever FS add-on product you like, and "fly" it the way it is supposed to be "flown" - with lots of imagination and far less "au s

August 7, 200421 yr >How on earth can anyone prefer Leno over Letterman????Because his monologue is so much better - I don't care for the rest of both shows.Michael J.http://www.reality-xp.com/community/nr/rsc/rxp-higher.jpg Michael J.
August 7, 200421 yr This just proves you can't discuss Ariane without getting into an argument. Now you've dragged Leno and Letterman into it. When will it ever end! Hey, these guys must have web sites. Lets all go over there and start a flame war! PMDG vs Ariane. They won't even know what the hell we're talking about!David
August 8, 200421 yr Actually, This IS quite interesting.Although a lot of comparison data isn't available as neither has presented himself to Tom for an unbiased review, few would argue that David Letterman is aerodynamically more stable than Jay Leno, being slimmer and taller. Watching them stroll over to their seats across the studio floor illustrates this point, and the way their arms move through the air confirms it.I have heard rumours that Leno is working on a patch as even he acknowledges that Letterman's nose shape is superior to his own, so he should be given 'a fair chance' before the community flames him. Finally, IMHO, Leno should reconsider his appearance fees which are apparently higher than Letterman's, bearing in mind that you see all the neck ties that Letterman owns as part of his show series without the need for more money apparently going to Leno when he puts on a 'new' suit.........And before you ask, Yes - I have seen both shows!Remember Simmers, that this is only a simulation - neither are really 'true to life'!Toni.Proud to be a Letterman Viewer. My system specs: Toshiba 36" CRT TV, antenna, 240 volts power, Armchair, Budweiser 6-pack and salt pretzels.
