Weird. Stay locked at 30 even around Orbx airports and regions. Mind you, I am excluding KSEA.

I honestly think the "setting WideViewAspect to False" is pure snake oil. I tested this extensively yesterday and seen not one 0.1 difference in frame rates or smoothness. It's just changing FSX's zoom aspects.

 

But setting the HTML and the Logging to '0' (off) will definitely yield some improvement in frames.

 

One thing I have noticed is that the Extended's VC also does not seem overly dependent on higher AA modes or setting, so in Catalyst Control Center (I'm a ATI user) I have reduced AA mode from "adaptive" to basic MSAA, and it has increased frame rates in the Extended by about 6-8 FPS, with little visual difference in the VC - however some high end add-on airports have become shimmery as a result of this, so this option is not for everyone!

yes sir the HTML and the Logging to '0' (off) dose improve.

i also converted the vc textures the ones without alpha to DXT1. Only to DXT1 format not the resoultion the resoultion is the same just in DXT1 which reduces the size without quality loss and it helped also.

I bought the Airbus X Extended yesterday, but only got round to trying it today. First impression is a promising aircraft that I would love to fly, with one major flaw. Unlike the NGX in which I get 22fps constantly (locked internally at 22) no matter where I am, the AXE likes to bring that down to 9 fps for some reason... The maximum fps I have been able to achieve with it so far is 12 fps.............

 

I just wanted to ask if this is a known problem that other people have too, or if its just me, because right now, I'm back with the NGX untill some sort of HOTFIX has been created:/ sorry aerosoft....

You could also try this besides the FMGC.ini change.

 

Go to the same directory and open AB_ND_GDI.ini and change as below ;-)

Hi all, does anyone know where I can download the airbus x extended configuration set, you know where it enables you to disable HTML, and saving flights, logging etc. I've looked on the hotfix sections on aero-soft forums but nothing to be seen.
