Hey guys!

 

I work at a large aviation university as a dispatcher (among several other things) and so I work a lot with the students and CFI's. One thing that has surprised me from when I first started flying here to now is how nobody understands the world that is out here for FS and pilots. Everyone loves FS but 95% of the university doesn't know much about what there is out here for them. I have discussed a dozen times with several people what VATSIM is, VA's, payware aircraft, etc but just can't seem to get them to fully grasp the big picture.

 

I want to spread VATSIM and the world of FS out to these fellow pilots and one of the best ways I can think of is having a good video that shows whats out here. I would make one myself but I have tried and lack the creativity of what I'm trying to get across. If any of you guys would like to create a professional, creative video to not only help out me and my mission, but also anyone else who is trying to use that "perfect recruiting" video, please let me know. I have a list of stuff I am trying to show people of the FS world and would provide that (along with any other suggestions) if someone is willing to do the video.

Don't forget pilotedge way better than vatsim

I know of a flightshool that has a lot of foreign students so language proficiency is an issue. They use networked pc's with fsx on them and have students fly circuits with one of the instructors acting as controller. Works like a charm.

I dont know if this is something like what you would want, but you can take a look in any case. If you get back to me with more specifications as to what you'd want differently, I *might* be able to help you.
