A380 Landing At KSFO

Recommended Posts

KSFO is one of my favorite home airports in FSX. I normally set up a flightplan for landing at this airport. I found the video of an A380 landing at KSFO at this new website absolutely stunning - http://pilotseye.tv/. Here's a better link to the video - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UDMDuRczDI0&feature=player_embedded

Best regards,

Jim

One doesn't get to see a video of this quality and diversity too often. Appreciated it very much and thanks for the heads up.

Love that airport. I like that you enter ILS to runway 28L 28R I think over the Bridge. Like that airport in Flight Unlimted 2

Yes awesome video Jim and I couldn't agree more.

I flew into 28R (as a pax) KSFO back in 2009 and was treated to an A340 landing beside us on 28L. Not as cool a video but still...

I actually spoke to the flight crew after landing and they were just as stoked as I was about the arrival partner.

That was great watching the other aircraft land on 28L. I land at KSFO frequently as I like the scenery and it is a short hop from KLAX or KLAS (@ an hour/hour and a half flights). In FSX I have seen several dual landings with aircraft mainly landing on my right. It's always interesting to see whether the AI is too high or I'm too high.

Best regards,

Jim

I've watched it several times now after posting it here and see more and more details. I liked the taxi to the gate where the fire trucks gave the aircraft and crew a much deserved welcome and salute then watching it taxi into the gate position. What a treat! Almost as good as GSX? LOL.

Best regards,

Jim
