I have sorted my connection out now and my AS2012 is working. The weather engine seems to be very accurate and the cloud textures are really beautiful. I transferred from another product, and I am jolly glad i did! Superb.

Just one problem: jumpiness. I am sure this is because I haven't got my settings sorted properly, but the weather is very jumpy. As the weather updates, clouds pop in and out and the winds jostle my aircraft as they change. One minutes it's sunny, next minute raining. Though the textures are beautiful, these changes are really unrealistic and become quite irritating after a while. What are the correct settings to ensure that the transitions, if you like, are smooth? I have a registered version of FSUIPC (latest), AS 2012 (latest SP and build) and FSX.

Any help greatly appreciated,

John

P.S. Congratulations on a great product!

John - have you read the sticky at the top of the forum re getting the best weather for your type of flying? Different modes affect what you see. Wind shifts, cloud popping.

What sort of flying do you do, John? As2012 has settings you can use for low flying, airliner flying etc. or you can create your own.

Hi John,

We just posted a new beta build that addresses some issues that may have caused this. Also, you need to be in DWC mode (i.e. High Alt/IFR profile) for smooth winds (not sure which mode you were flying).
