VRi Sim does not recognise CDU2 after installing Linda

Featured Replies

Hi

I just installed Linda for my MCP Combo (Ver 1) but since I have done this VRi Sim no longer recognises my CDU2 (even when I rescan for VRInsight devices).

How can I fix this? As far as I know, Linda does not support the CDU2... is this correct?

Regards

Thomas

Copy and Paste the contents of the [VRinsight] section of the FSUIPC4.ini to your next post.

Also please confirm the Com port number that VRiSim reports for the MCP Combo, check for this without starting FSX, just load VRiSim on its own.

Cheers, Andy.

Also you might want to unplug your CDU USB cable and replug as mine sometimes "vanishes" also.

I've had the same problem occasionally with my VRInsight M-Panel. I found that unplugging and plugging back in works sometimes.

Other times I have found that cycling all the buttons and switches does the trick. Sometimes a button seems to have gotten stuck even though you can't visually identify which button or switch it is.

Make sure you have the latest software for your vrinsight hardware. I thought I had but there was newer.

Uninstall the vrinsight driver for you're MCP.

Always start your vrinsight driver last.

You have the same setup as me and the above worked for me

Good luck

"Other times I have found that cycling all the buttons and switches does the trick." This method has worked for me quite a few times.
