January 14, 201313 yr My home airport is Islip (KISP) and right now it is real foggy here so I fired up my REX (I have Rex and Overdrive) and loaded up the real world weather, after everything loaded there was no fog at Islip (there was clouds but the visibility was real good. Even some clear skies). I am not sure why I can not get fog to show in my sim using Rex. The default weather engines makes the fog but not Rex. Any ideas why??
January 14, 201313 yr The METAR in AS2012 is pretty obvious: very low overcast and visibility 1 statute mile. I didn't check in game. Dunno why REX wouldn't pick this up. If they display a METAR, see what visibility is reported. If it's obviously wrong, check the time on the METAR. Hook Larry Hookins Oh!
