January 17, 201313 yr Author It wasn't so long ago that you were hailing XP as the best flight sim... Yes, I was rather enthusiastic about it... but by that time I didn't yet get my hands on DCS World's p-51, and above all, didn't yet get rid of my "preconcept" of not going to like a military flightsim... Also, the very true is that I am allways desperately searching the simulator that gives me the closest to real sensation of flying, managing complex systems, interacting with a plausible world. DCS World gives all of that, even if with just a few aircraft modules... January 17, 201313 yr Like I said in another thread, there will probably have to be some come-down off of the whole "unless it covers the entire world its too limited" concept, or its hard to see a meeting of the minds. And the whole anti-military thing, too. We are all connected..... To each other, biologically...... To the Earth, chemically...... To the rest of the Universe atomically. January 17, 201313 yr Well, if they could add something from each (civilian) category, that would be nice. You know, a single engine, a twin, a small jet and so on. What about a Learjet for example? Interesting plane to fly and not that slow.
January 17, 201313 yr Author What about a Learjet for example? Interesting plane to fly and not that slow. There's at least a Yak-40 :-), but it's AI... don't give them ideas that might end up in some sort of cockpitless offers, if you know what I mean :-)....
