Mount Logan...grab your oxygen masks.

Thanks for posting this Mike. Your post is just minutes before I was going to. I was running late again today getting back to the computer.

You did good.

Thank you.

Rick

Let's see, a mountain in the Yukon Range. Sounds good!

Departing Yakutat.

I put the Cub down and got an Achievement.

I don't remember getting that at Denali. Something must be wrong.

At first, I was going to leave the Cub up there, but that made little sense, so back to Yakutat.

do.png Hot, humid Caribbean paradise!

I took off from Yukatat in the Corsair, heading NW. I spotted "Superdaddygea" out in that direction. He held position for me while I flew the 70 or so miles to Mt Logan. Thanks Superdaddygea!

I took up Miss Seattle for this little jaunt, not too difficult to find. I made it back to Yukatat before sundown, good flight!

I thought this would be a good job for the C-46 on a cold, clear winter morning, so I took off from Icy Bay and slowly climbed my way up. I was still about a thoudand feet too low when I got there, so I went past, then circled back and picked up the cache. I landed on the mountain (at 17,636 feet) to get the Airborne Mountaineer achievement, took off, buzzed Mt. Cook, then put her down at Yakutat. A very enjoyable flight.
