Engine Fire at V1/Vr/V2 ?

Featured Replies

Hello PMDG's Team,

Please, would it be possible, if there is someday a new update, to add the option Engine Fire (1) or (2) before V1, at Vr or V2 ?

Waiting for your answer. Thank you in advance,

Kindest Regards,

Richard Portier

Already in there, have a go and try it out.

Where? I can only program a failure random or after a specified time in hours, minutes or seconds.

at the moment thats all you can do is program in minutes for a fire for the eng at v1 etc

Go to aircraft-failures-engine and on page 4 of 5 you'll see v1, v2, and VR cut

Yes, but that is not engine fire.

James Goggi

You'll have to use the timer, I misread your post, sorry. The failures in the FMC are from pmdg end, not fs2crew, they'll have to add it. At any rate engine fires are already modeled.

No it is not. But it pretty much simulates a severe damage scenario with the seizure of the the N1 fan. It would therefore still be appropriate to do the Engine Fire, Engine Severe Damage or Separation memory items and checklist

Why the bump?

Because the question is adressed to PMDG's Team not to FS2Crew Emergency's Team !

Don't worry the FS2Crew Emergency program is absolutely Great (don't be nervous ) !

I understood perfectly that I must use the timer to simulate the Engine Fire.

So again, it was a simple question to the PMDG's Team in the PMDG's forum because this little problem within their competence !

"Any (other) question" ? Big%20Grin.gif

Btw there will be no more bump, if no answer I will post directly to PMDG.
