September 3, 200421 yr Hi,has anyone tried this yet > Now available from Perfect Flight only for FS2004 is Jumbo 2005! from perfect flight.I wondered if it has a fully working FMC at all.I have tried e-mailing them, but no joythanksStevePS heres their site link http://www.fs2000.org/jumbo/flightsim.htm
September 3, 200421 yr If the website is any reflection of the quality of the product, then I'd stay away!! So many typo's on one page from a 'proffesional' developer aren't encouraging! And judging from the posted screenshots, it doesn't seem to have a functional FMC...the 'pretty' and 'interractive kneeboard' seem more important! You'd imagine that fully operational FMC would be being used as a major selling point, alas, it would appear not to be.
September 3, 200421 yr Please don't waste you money on anything from Perfect Flight...Just a good advice :)Johnny"I'LL BE BACK"[div align=center]http://www.avsim.com/hangar/fly/josve/pmdg.jpg ][/div
September 3, 200421 yr thanks all, do any of you know when the PMDG 747 will be out, it seems like I have been waiting an eternity for it, I know its not, it just seems like it.again, I realise it's probably just me, but we don't seem to have had much come out in the way of payware for FS9, such as the heavier metal kind, 747,777,etc, just busses from PSS.thanks againSteve.
September 3, 200421 yr You will not be waiting as long as that! There is no release date BUT once it hits BETA, I would venture to guess that it will reflect the same amount of time the 737 NG took. September 5, 200421 yr We've all waited for a very long time for a decent payware 747 and 777 in Fs2004, so wait a little more for PMDG. In the good ol' days, when Robert Randazzo was Master of The Queen, I bought his 747-400 (for FS98) and it was fantastic; so was the manual. I am sure the PMDG 747-400 will therefore be amazing. I am waiting for it because I know everything else will be junk.JS Jonathan Sacks Dell XPS Gen 4, Pentium IV Northwood extreme 3.8Ghz, 3Ghz RAM, eVGA 7900 GTO, 12 GoFlight modules plus MCP-PRO AP and EFIS, GF pedestal, CH rudder pedals, CH throttle quadrant, 42" LG LED, 24" DELL LCD, Windows XP, FS2004, FSUIPC 3.96 FS Autostart 1.1 (Build 11), FS Navigator 4.6, UT, FE, GE, REX, PMDG, Level-D, PSS, etc.

September 5, 200421 yr Don't get it! Every add-on Perfect flight release is over priced JUNK! Look at there 717 for example! The only place aircraft from Perfect flight belong is in the Mojave Desert aircraft scrap yards or your Recyle Bin.
September 5, 200421 yr Yep........bring on the PMDG 747-400.But, in the meantime, I highly recommend the RFP 747-200 which is just as realistic and cutting-edge as the PMDG 737s.Would be nice to have a realistic 747-200 and a realistic 747-400 in my hangar. (Kinda make me feel luckier than John Travolta) :)
