FSX Freeware Planes Flashing Board

Featured Replies

Hi Everyone,

I am having a problem with a lot of FSX freeware planes. They all seem to have this flashing board across the captain's PFD, ND, and some part of the EICAS. I am mainly concerned about a recent plane I downloaded from the Avsim Library. It is the [PIA ATR-42-500 by Ahmed Ahsen & Ed Cox]. I have attached an image for your better understanding. Any help will be much appreciated.

Thank YOU So much!

I checked, it's a problem with this being a port over from FSX. The normal way to work around this is to modify the panel.cfg file, but since this was modeled with the panel extending beyond the glare shield and into the windscreen area, the work around results in the portion sticking into the windscreen becoming an opaque gray color.

Hey stans,

Thanks for you reply! I went to the official website and it doesn't seem like it had any problem... Weirdd. I don't know what I did wrong, so what will you recommend me to do? Thank you again for helping!
