March 19, 201313 yr Just renewed my 737NGX because i got a new comp and had to purchase it again to install it on the new rig. now im trying to activate it and im getting a message saying that im unable to connect to their activation server and to check my internet connection, and well my internet is working fine. anyone else having a similar problem... any way to fix it or maybe contact the people at PMDG... this is REALLY frustrating
March 19, 201313 yr Contact PMDG support through the ticketing system, they will get back to you, you arent the only one who has had this problem, at least 2 other persons had this issue in the last 24 hours, probably something is up with the servers. April 17, 201313 yr Hi scandinavian13I have been trying for two days on and off but no joy so I'll wait until the maintenance is finished and do it thenOh and I had read that sticky which is why I was just saying I was still getting the error msg, but no attitude here mate. The Wizzard of Aus.
April 17, 201313 yr Commercial Member Oh and I had read that sticky which is why I was just saying I was still getting the error msg, but no attitude here mate. Sorry. It was a word play on an old commercial. Had I stopped and looked at your user name I would've realized it probably wouldn't have had the same effect to someone not from the States. I just assume interjections at the beginning of written sentences are intended to show impatience or irritation. I guess I assumed incorrectly. In case you're curious: (and not having seen these since the early 90s, it's amazing to look back at how awkward they were) Kyle Rodgers
April 25, 201313 yr Wait a minute. Do you mean really that you had to pay twice the addon, after you changed computer?
April 25, 201313 yr Commercial Member Wait a minute. Do you mean really that you had to pay twice the addon, after you changed computer? If he did, he didn't need to. If someone - for whatever bonehead reason - loses the installers, all they need to do is get the extended download service. [RANT] Backup, backup, backup, make a CD, put it on an external - do something other than delete the installer. People would look at you like an idiot if you threw the installation CD for a product away after installing it. I don't understand why so many people delete their installers for downloaded products. [/RANT] My hard drive just died, I hadn't backed it up previously (Kyle, have mercy on my soul), but luckily it was still working in safe mode and I was then able to back it up onto an external drive. WHEW!!! Forgive my ignorance, but won't the original installer just install the versions before any updates, service packs, etc? How will I get the newest version? Ron Priever
