Hello flyers,

i was wondering since now i'm using Topcat for performance calculation and for what i know it isn't possible to do with the T7.

so my question is very simple, how are we going to calculate the performance?

i know in a real 777 they have the EFB to do so, but from what i understand it's not going to be included (in the first release at least).

I am sure The TOPCAT developers will try to find the time to get something together. As far as I am aware PMDG has always used balanced field V speeds in there FMC's, what we need is the optimised V speeds, so we definitely need charts or software like TOPCAT for obstacle limits etc etc..

+1 ..... for take-off & LANDING !!

 

but it seems TOPCAT is behind the pace when it comes to "new / recent" PMDG aircraft. we'll need to use an FPPM if we could !!

What do you mean by data? We'll be supporting Q400 and 777 at the beginning - offering real values.

By real values do you mean obstacle limits or just balanced field v speeds?

Balanced field v-speeds, as we do not have data for obstacles I'm afraid.
