SP2 out for A36

Featured Replies

Some minor issues are fixed, mainly to do with click spots in the virtual cockpit.

You can find this SP on the Carenado download site.

Also, in collaboration with an A36 owner, I have made some changes to the Aspen gauge

which has been upgraded to match the latest release level.  Based on owner feedback,

Aspen has changed the function of the HDG and CRS knobs so that they default to

adjusting when turned, rather than having to be pushed in first.

If you are into this kind of thing, send me a PM with your email address, and I'll send you

a copy to test.

I can only download 1.0 at aerosoft download shop. Where can i get this update?

Thanks,  should have searched better.

but avast giving some warnings says the file is suspicious. Almost never happen so I'm a bit carefull. Is the filename BE700EX_sp2.zip?

I installed SP1 named A36SP20111014 without any warning and the sp2 filename seems not logical to me.

Thanks for the heads-up, Bert.  Surprising to see an SP after all this time.

This was never my favorite plane and I haven't flown it in some time, but whatever changes have been made in the SP must be pretty minor as I don't notice anything different so far.  Still, it was nice to have an excuse to drag this out of the hangar, and I have to admit I liked it better than I remembered.

Hi Scott, this was in response to some bug reports... For example, the right-click to reset the heading bug only worked in the popup window, but not in the VC.  That has now been fixed.

This is surprising! I love the bonanza!!!!

...should I pick this one up, whats the FDE like?...and the refresh on the flight gauges?

I was really holding out to see if they would release the g1000 fps fix for the C182T and SR22 and buy those when/if that happens.

Hey bert, what about the 340 and baron b58 twins...do you own both of those by chance and either or both of those are better?

hmm, still pondering over both of these (A36 & B58) but I feel that to really get the most out of either of these I would probably want to have the rxp unlimited package (and currently I only own the 530, so id have to spend another $150 to get the 430+unlimited)...either that or I'd have to stick with only using the gns popup instead.

TBH I think Dreamfleets A36 for fs2004 has alot more to offer as far as modeled systems and navigation. Too bad they never released it for fsx.

You can actually shoehorn a 530 into the Baron - I believe I provided instructions in the B58 forum..

If you own the F33, you already have the better Bonanza, IMHO..
