I really liked this paint job when I first saw it. I hope you do too.

N6440N was built in 1978. It was owned by Sharman Enterprises Inc and was kept at Nut Tree airport, Vacaville, CA. As soon as I finished the paint I went on a hunt for it's history and the aircraft was sold to one Peter Clisdell of Rockdale, Australia on the 2/2/2012! I tried to find pictures of it with it's new Aussie rego, VH-PYH, but no joy. If anyone has one I'd appreciate a PM

Perfect timing, Ron.  The 210 has recently worked its way back into my flying rotation (I have no idea why, but I just get in the mood for a given plane sometimes) and I was thinking last night while flying it from Las Vegas to Sedona, AZ, that I didn't have any interesting paint for it.  This looks very nice indeed and should fill the bill.

Thanks,

Scott

That's an exceptionally nice RL paint, and you've captured it beautifully. Looking forward to flying it. Thanks!

Thanks to Lars, who furnished me with a picture of the new Aussie registration. I'll have that out very shortly.

I have a picture that shows no marking on the underside of the wing. I could be that it hasn't been done yet or that it isn't necessary. Anyone know?

NO wingregistration I think.

I found Mr Clisdells facebook page https://www.facebook.com/prcaustralia

Simply sending a message to Mr Clisdell and asking him about the registration gives you the final answer

Hmm... Looks like a pretty nice avionics package went along with that paintjob!

Flew with the paint last night, and it's a keeper!  Wife even commented, and she's pretty picky went it comes to airplane paints.

Leen, I think I'll do just that!

Scott, when somebody's wife like your paint it's cause to puff one's chest out. Tell her thank ya, thank ya kindly.

  If anyone spots the deliberate mistake on N6440N, PM me with your email and I'll send you the correction. If you can't see it, ignore this post. B)
