April 11, 201313 yr I really liked this paint job when I first saw it. I hope you do too. N6440N was built in 1978. It was owned by Sharman Enterprises Inc and was kept at Nut Tree airport, Vacaville, CA. As soon as I finished the paint I went on a hunt for it's history and the aircraft was sold to one Peter Clisdell of Rockdale, Australia on the 2/2/2012! I tried to find pictures of it with it's new Aussie rego, VH-PYH, but no joy. If anyone has one I'd appreciate a PM On AVSIM as we speak. The World is divided into two groups. April 11, 201313 yr Perfect timing, Ron. The 210 has recently worked its way back into my flying rotation (I have no idea why, but I just get in the mood for a given plane sometimes) and I was thinking last night while flying it from Las Vegas to Sedona, AZ, that I didn't have any interesting paint for it. This looks very nice indeed and should fill the bill. Thanks, Scott
April 11, 201313 yr Author I do the same thing Scott. They come out of the blue so to speak. This week 210s..next week who knows? The World is divided into two groups. Those who say "Give me a link" and those that provide the link. WWG1WGA
April 11, 201313 yr That's an exceptionally nice RL paint, and you've captured it beautifully. Looking forward to flying it. Thanks! John
April 12, 201313 yr Author Thanks to Lars, who furnished me with a picture of the new Aussie registration. I'll have that out very shortly. I have a picture that shows no marking on the underside of the wing. I could be that it hasn't been done yet or that it isn't necessary. Anyone know? The World is divided into two groups. April 12, 201313 yr Hmm... Looks like a pretty nice avionics package went along with that paintjob! Flew with the paint last night, and it's a keeper! Wife even commented, and she's pretty picky went it comes to airplane paints. Scott

April 14, 201313 yr Author  If anyone spots the deliberate mistake on N6440N, PM me with your email and I'll send you the correction. If you can't see it, ignore this post. B) The World is divided into two groups. Those who say "Give me a link" and those that provide the link. WWG1WGA
