SkyPilot Software is pleased to announce that its FSX loading and configuration tool, FSXAssist is now available.
We at SkyPilot would like to extend thanks to all the testers who offered their time and expertise to help create FSXAssist!  Thanks one and all.

To get started with FSXAssist, visit SkyPilot Software and select download or view the documentation from the FSXAssist menu.

This is a shareware product so don't forget to support your FSX developer community.

Thank you for trying FSXAssist and please send all questions or comments to jallen@@Skypilot.biz.

P3DAssist is in the works so stay tuned.

Jim Allen

Excellent—looking forward to trying it! Also consider "officially" updating the other FSXAssist thread, in case participants in it do not see this thread.

What exactly do we need to backup before we start using?  I have a stable high-end system, however I can always use a boost in the high traffic areas!   I always like to save different states of my fsx when I am tweaking so I can go back if need be and also post the results in txt file with backed up files.  Thanks!

Now this looks like just what the doctor ordered.

Can you tell me if I can run this for P3D with the migration tool active.

I'd love to get this on my system asap and use it until your P3D version is finished. (Or is the P3D version imminent?) ^_^

Thanks

Hi - The only files that FSXAssist touches are fsx.cfg and exe.xml and backs these up for you during initialization so you can always go back to your original congiuration (click the refresh button in the UI).

Hi - the P3D version is in the works but not imminent.  Possibly 3-4 weeks of development (I have a day job :) and 1-2 for the beta cycle will be required.

Stay Tuned

Hi Allen

I have the joystick connection problem. However, I feel that FSX Assist is a little overpriced. Can I get it for USD$12? (It does not matter if you send me a copy that only has the joystick connect function). I live in Asia, meaning that USD$20 is not very affordable.

Thanks,

Jerry
