April 28, 201313 yr Author With my tired old eyes I've never had much luck scanning a glass cockpit in FSX so the Lionheart, although it looks great, is a non-starter.. I don't know if I could adapt in real life. I'm sticking w/ steam gauges for FSX.
May 1, 201313 yr Author if you don't mind the thrill of properly managing a big V-12 instead of a turboprop, I've got the Warbird Sim "Little Friends" P-51 in the livery of Hess Bomberger's Vergeltungswaffe, and it is quite a lot to manage on take-off. I've been reading the USAF dash one from the Korean War and also the AOPA magazine article on flying Crazy Horse for tips on taming the Mustang. I flew w/ Hess for my 40th birthday but it was a single control bird. Slim
May 1, 201313 yr You would also consider the Iris PC-21. While its not technically a civi plane, its single-engine, its a turbo-prop, it has nice textures, and its quite speedy. Chris Magnus HR Manager Air Jamaica Virtual Airlines and Cargo (http://www.airjamaicavirtualairlinesandcargo.org)
May 1, 201313 yr The Carenado TBM will be out soon. Not sure if the G1000 will be any good but at least it will be pretty. If you check their website, it will be G1000 :( Ryan L.
