May 12, 201313 yr I had a voice warning about missing SDK, when I launched FS2Crew for the PMDG NGX. I think this is possibily why I couldn't get the ground crew to work. Also the co-pilot questioned everything, even the seat belt signs "passinger signs on" Checked very obviously on. "are you sure about that" and so on. Should I reinstall everything? Or reinstall some of PMDG service packs? Best regards Julian J u l ia n D i a m a n d i s
May 12, 201313 yr Hi Julian, are you loading the aircraft with 2D cockpit. This is definitely the case with the NGX, unsure about other aircraft. You will get this problem a lot of the time if you start the aircraft in a 3D cockpit. I had a bad CTD previous, to this, so I suspect something had got messsed up. J u l ia n D i a m a n d i s
May 12, 201313 yr Commercial Member Please see this page: http://www.support.fs2crew.com/help/manuals/#pageid=pmdg_737_ngx4 A lot of times it's because the user has UAC enabled, and that blocks our installer's attempt to update the PMDG Opitions INI with this required line: [sDK]EnableDataBroadcast=1 B. May 13, 201313 yr Author Ok it looks like these lines are in the .ini file. Interesting about the UCA problem, I have heard of this before. Where is the best place to install the whole of flight sim? I always try and lower the UCA, and I always fly in admistrator if I can.I need to have another flight, to see if if was an isolated sit Ok thanks, it looks like these lines are in the .ini file. May 13, 201313 yr Commercial Member The best place to install FSX is anywhere "other" than Program Files (the default location). When you install FSX off the DVDs, you'll have the option to chose a custom location. Don't do what some people do and just drag the FSX folder to a new location... that's a recipe for problems. You should turn UAC full off and ideally be in an Admin account. B. York FS2Crew Web Site / FS2Crew Facebook Page / FS2Crew Discord
