May 29, 201313 yr Author Jim, Did you get the original Maryland 2.1 update when that came out? Yes. In fact I commented on it when first released it as I didn't think it was as clear as the original (couldn't see my son's home in Olney as well) but then you recommended I zoom things out a little and that cleared up things. There are others here who saw the same things as I saw in OP (except for the white plane which is now missing from my installation). I'm not understanding the installation process of these products. I read on the front page of AVSIM where some saw that they were missing some files in Arizona or they saw the files were duplicated. I still don't see how that can be determined by looking at the files that have been installed. I just downloaded and installed Colorado. It was a slow process on the day of release but it was much faster today. I installed it by running all 35 installers yet, when I looked at the scenery, there was a wide strip missing near Denver so I might have missed an installer (I run 5-6 installers at a time). Is there a way for me to look at the files installed to determine which installer (if any) I missed? Windows Explorer indicates there are 750 .bgl's installed. I see that they are named 'CO_Aerial1_(then alpha letters A thru V)_(then numbers 2-36 for each Alpha letter).bgl. Not sure why there is no 01 and the number goes from 02 thru 36 (35 installers so that might be the reason). From my assessment it appears Colorado was fully installed but I see the large strip of default textures near Denver. What I do is take my F-16 up to FL300 or 400 and look around and can see the anomaly(lies) from there. In regards to Arizona fixes. I saw nothing on your site that these files were fixed. Same thing for Ohio where I redownloaded the State of Ohio recently and there were more files and the files were larger. How do we know you fixed one of your products with an updated installer? I certainly appreciate the assistance you have provided now and in the past in these forums. I hope you will visit this forum often and help some of us having problems as I discussed above. May 30, 201313 yr Commercial Member Jim, I am not directly involved with the development, so I don't have that specific file information sorry. The best I could do is to try a fresh install on my system and then after each installer is loaded, check the directory and see which filenames were added. Its probably a tedious process, but I will try and find time to do that and see what we come up with. If that works, then I could identify which installer you would need to run to fill in that gap. I'd be fairly sure you just missed installing one of the files. Another option is to make a simple batch file which runs all the installers in order, one after the other, and then its harder to miss any DeanManager - PC Aviator AustraliaRetailing Sim DVD Software, Downloads, Hardware and Accessories

May 31, 201313 yr Commercial Member Jim, I found the problem I was having. I was installing them all to my D:\ but one of the installers I didnt alter the path for and it went to the default C:\ So please check your drives to see if one set of files went to a different drive by mistake, and if so, just copy those files over to the location were the majority of your files are installed. There should be 770 BGL files in your Colorado scenery folder. DeanManager - PC Aviator AustraliaRetailing Sim DVD Software, Downloads, Hardware and Accessories
May 31, 201313 yr Author As indicated in my Post#16 I counted 750 bgl's. I already looked in my C and D drives. Looks like I'm going to have to redownload everything again. Thanks. You run Colorado Setup 001 and that will install the CO_Aerial1_A series and some of the B. Each Series will start out with 02 and go to 36. So there are 35 bgl's in each series, A thru V. May 31, 201313 yr Jim, just to confirm, I have 770 BGL's in my install of CO. And yes, a total of 35 setup executables. I've made several flights and haven't seen anything glitchy. One major difference is that I don't tempt the fates and run multiple installers at once. One at a time, which leads me to... I understand the separate DL's, and it's no big deal to hand all of them to 7-zip for one mass extraction, but I sure wish there was a way to have a single installer work its magic on all of the install files. Having to re-input the path 35 times is an invitation to mistakes and I have to admit I've said a few less than complementary words while tediously going through the installs of my V2 products (CO was my 5th). Just sayin... <_< Scott
