Ok. I just can't resist any longer. I'm getting the a380 package. I just have a few questions for those of you who already have it. How does it work with cargo and passengers? Is it 777 style where you enter the number of passengers and weight? How about fuel? Does it work in 64 bit?

Same here but for SIDS, STARS and transitions, does it have them and therefore would it be suitable for flying online (without reverting to something like uFMC)? If so which Nav Data does it use?

Thanks.

I use the UFMC(Payware $20) or you can use the free XFMC.  The 380 is still being updated and will receive another patch in 2-3 months.  It has a beautiful custom FMC in the center console which I didn't learn yet    I paid $59.95 for just the Air France Package,  I will buy all his planes soon :good:

that FREE XFMC is awesome for almost controlling the whole plane's flight which I find too boring.  The AP does everything except make you coffee

Both FMC accept Navigraph Updates!

64 bit....YES 100% no crashes

Fuel and Passengers weight......YES from xp10 menu or FMC

I have the ufmc already, but why not use the custom fmc, or is the included one not complete?

the included fmc uses the xp10 navdata and works great, Peter is adding Navigraph SID/STAR support this summer/fall in a patch.

It uses default X Plane load manager for weight and fuel. It works in 64bit without any problem.

The "custom" MCDU is quite nice, but it still lacks a lot of features. SIDs/STARs are to be added later this year.

So, no sid/star as it stands now if I'm not utilizing ufmc?

Hmm... That's a bit of a disappointment. Is it functioning well with ufmc, though?

it runs amazing on the ufmc.....just enter sid/stars and then T/O......the rest is normal while your in the cockpit.  Once you fly this beast on auto or manual....you won't fly anything else for a while

Purchasing the Airbus A388 is an investment that will repay you over and over for many years to come. It's such a complete experience (with the VC 3d) that you'll want nothing more. This product repays you with its quality and in its depth. The support from Peter Hager is second to none and the upgrades will follow for many years to come

also I forgot to mention, whatever you enter in the ufmc or fmc.....it will all be entered automatically into the Airbus Custom FMC.....so there is no difference.  Your sid/stars from the other fmc gets put into the 380 fmc :good: the 380 also supports FS BUILD Flightplans.

Yeah, I will probably still be getting it...is the included documentation good?
