767-400?

Featured Replies

I'd have to agree with a lot of the points already made. A retrofitted 757, as offered by QW -and as it exists irl- is probably the closest thing you'll get to the cockpit of a 767-400. That is, until PMDG's T7 is completed, I'd guess.

(And on a personal note, the amount of speculation on the landing gear of the T7 is comedy gold. "THE GEARS ARE UP" "THE GEARS ARE DOWN" "IT'S ON THE TAXIWAY"... Brilliant.)

Pictures of a retrofitted 757, by AAL, in real life, for the poster that went "LOL" at the remark that a 757 cockpit can look the same as a 767-4:

Considering, just as the earlier posters said, the market for a 767-4 is an extremely niche market, I'd say QW's 757-2 and PMDG's 777 series should sate your appetite sufficiently with regards to the matter. Although it would be easier for Captain Sim to finish their 767 and then offer a retrofit cockpit as well. That'd be an even closer fit to have.

I was pointing out what products are released now and how the 757 retrofit is similar to the 777. There is no high fidelity 777 available yet.

Actually it is not similar, the retrofit 757  displays are completely different then either the 767-400 or the 777. The 737NG's or 744's are actually the closest as far as the displays are concerned!

Thanks

Tom
