May 17, 201313 yr We already have two good B767-300s by LDS and CS. The 767-200/300 models are nice, but they are kind of old school. Plus, the LDS and CS 767 are getting old... graphics are starting to become a bit dated. No one has ever made a high quality 767-400 for MSFS, which is quite strange since it is such a beautiful plane, larger than the -300 and it also has a much more modern and attractive flight deck than the 200 and 300 models. So my question is, what do you guys think of the B767-400, and, will a high quality developer ever make one for FSX? FSX: PMDG 744/MD11/JS41/736/737/738/739, CS752/753/763/C130, SimCheck A300, Leonardo MD82, MJC DH8D, Aerosoft CRJ7/CRJ9/A318/A319/A320/A321, RAZBAM Metroliner, ORBX Global, FlyTampa KBUF/OMDB/TNCM/VHHX, ActiveSky Next DCS: A-10C II/F-16C/AH-64D/F-15E/KA-50 III/Mi-24/Persian Gulf/Syria/F-15C XP11: FF 752/753, iniBuilds A306, HotStart TBM900 MSFS: Fenix A320, FS2Crew Fenix A320, FS2Crew Pushback Express, PMDG B77W, ActiveSky FS, Drzewiecki Design UUEE
May 17, 201313 yr I would love to see one, but I am not sure if it will happen. *Paging someone to say PMDG should do one* ORBX- the way to go Sincerely, John McGee
May 17, 201313 yr So my question is, what do you guys think of the B767-400, and, will a high quality developer ever make one for FSX? How many airlines fly it in real life? 2? I cant see the demand for it compared to the -300 or the 777. Brent Lewis
May 17, 201313 yr I had honestly never seen the cockpit of a 400, but after reading the OP I googled some pics and was surprised to see how much it resembles that of the 777. Given how much more popular the 300 is IRL, and how similar it looks to the 777, I don't see it being a top candidate. But hey you never know.
May 17, 201313 yr Just buy the Quality Wings 757, you get the same type of flightdeck that FedEx uses for their 757F's
May 17, 201313 yr Just buy the Quality Wings 757, you get the same type of flightdeck that FedEx uses for their 757F's OK...but what does that have to do with a 767-400?? Matt L.
May 17, 201313 yr OK...but what does that have to do with a 767-400?? It gives you a similar cockpit layout and it's actually available in FSX?

May 17, 201313 yr Captain Sim is developing a -400. It was said a while s go that they needed to first develop the 777 to have the systems to put in a -400. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2 Follow me on : Instagram See my Trailer: A Year Of Flight
May 17, 201313 yr Put simply, the -400 is a niche aircraft with only two operators, so the market is likely to be small. PMDG have found this with the MD-11 and the Jetstream 41, you can't make the market buy what you want to make! The small size of the market might not be an issue if that work involved was minimal, but because it's basically stretched 767 with a 777 cockpit (a 767 NG if you will) there's a lot of work involved to adapt a 767-400 from any existing or in-development 767 or 777. ckyliu, proud supporter of ViaIntercity.com. i5 12400F, 32GB, RTX4070, more in "About me" on my profile.
May 17, 201313 yr LOL you mad? You seem to be missing the most important part of what I said, here I'll even quote it for you Just buy the Quality Wings 757, you get the same type of flightdeck that FedEx uses for their 757F's

May 17, 201313 yr ....not in a zillion years will we see a hi fidelity 767-400, for the reasons already given;- tiny market IRL tends to translate to tiny market of interest in FS. complex development on par with 777 would be interesting but I'll eat my hat and wear my granny if we ever see one..... (did I get those the wrong way around.....)

(did I get those the wrong way around.....) It is too bad. Since PMDG is working on a T7 and it has similar avionics to the 764, PMDG should make a 767-400 expansion pack! Sent from my Galaxy s3 using tapatalk 2 I was pointing out what products are released now and how the 757 retrofit is similar to the 777. There is no high fidelity 777 available yet.
