May 19, 201313 yr https://www.facebook.com/pages/Flight-Factor/466411353432633?fref=ts Ramzzess reminds me a bit of Bill Gates when young... Do we have a Bill Gates of Flight Simulation ;-) That would be really great! May 19, 201313 yr The Bill Gates lookalike you're referring to must be Philippe I think. Not sure he'd appreciate being compared to him, but I'm sure he'd like BG's bank account!
May 19, 201313 yr Author Oops! Though Ramzzess was the "kid" in the right on that Facebook photograph ... :-/ Flying gliders since 1980 Flightsimming since 1992 AMD Ryzen 5600x, 32GB RAM, GPU Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti 8 GB, 1 TB and 500 GB nvme2 SSD drives, HP 27" 60Hz LED monitor @ 1920x1080, T16000, Hotas from old X52 Pro, Saitek Combat Rudder Pro (2010 model)
May 20, 201313 yr One detail hit me in Philipp's presentation on Facebook: Then he teamed up with Javier Rollon to bring the first airliner with integrated FMC to X-Plane, the famous CRJ. He has worked for the UAV company MAVinci before he decided to turn his hobby into a profession - now he works for Laminar Research on X-Plane and as the FMC and avionics systems programmer for FlightFactor. That's a big scoop !!! Pascal
May 20, 201313 yr now he works for Laminar Research on X-Plane A lot of the talented designers are hired by Laminar as consultants and freelancers. Apparently J Rollon is another one.

May 20, 201313 yr I meant that Javier is working on something, now! I don't know what he's working on though.
