You can do that in the 747, the NGX and, unless I'm mistaken, the MD-11... So why would they drop this functionality on the 777?

You could do it on the FS2002 737NG too.

 

And obviously the real 777-200LR has this feature.

 

And you probably won't even need to pay for an update version 1.352 for this feature to be usable. !

Because developers always drop functionality in future released...duh...

 

I'm right with ya, though.  The threads asking for, or hoping, certain functionality that their aircraft already have always draw a laugh (or an eyeroll, if I haven't had my morning coffee) from me.

I hope they include wings and engines on the new 777. They should also introduce an interface that can be interacted with using a mouse.
