June 6, 201312 yr Hi everyone, I am under the assumption that the NGX will automatically save whatever changes you make to the aircraft for a particular livery. I spent 20 minutes configuring a Qantas airplane only to have had nothing save when I went back later to fly it. I read about this in the introduction .pdf and still have no clue how to save a specific aircraft configuration? If anyone can help me I'd be very appreciative. Thank you
June 6, 201312 yr Panel config: FMC / MENU / PMDG SETUP / PANEL STATE SAVE (give it some name: Cold and Dark etc.) For aircraft (livery) instruments specific settings you must have registration INI file for that livery in "FSX_folder\PMDG\PMDG 737 NGX\Aircraft". Name of that reg INI file must be in your "atc_id" section of NGX aircraft.cfg
June 6, 201312 yr Commercial Member Make sure you're running FSX with the "Run as administrator" command - the plane should save the options but if it doesn't have the proper write permissions it can't - this is part of the reason we recommend installing FSX in its own folder and not in Program Files (x86) where it wants to go by default. It's an old program that doesn't know how to play by Windows Vista/7/8's rules for permissions (UAC). Ryan MaziarzFor fastest support, please submit a ticket at http://support.precisionmanuals.com

January 25, 201511 yr What became of the option to change specific aircraft settings and adding liveries for the 737ngs in the pmdg operations center? Full names in the PMDG forums please. The FSXSE drama unfolding in the PMDG 77X theater has the OC going though some growing pains. They'll get it sorted out soon. Dan Downs KCRP
