My Weather is Stuck!

Featured Replies

Over the last few days I have found that downloaded weather for FS9 is always the same!  For example, at KBOS the winds are always 005 @11; for KSFO the winds are always 244 @20; for LIML the winds are always 340 @7.  These conditions always differ from real world conditions at these airports.  FYI I use FS9 default weather and with FSX I use REX weather. Could anyone please help me to fix this problem?

Thanks for your help!

Sorry to break the bad news but its no longer available. Gotta use REX or equivalent.

When did this happen?

I just also discovered that I can't get real weather with REX in FSX!  REX tells me I have no internet connection!  Is there something wrong with my system?  I also deleted my internet cache files but it did not help.

OK, looks like REX for FSX weather is back! FS9 weather is still not updating.  I checked the FS weather web site and it indicated everything was normal.

using FSX built in I've also been getting the same weather stuck for the last few days...but who said it's no longer available? As far as I know there has been no official announcement to support that idea.

REX is an FPS killer

REX is an FPS killer

No it isn't.

MS weather has known to come and go, even when FS9 WAS supported. Give it a few days and it will be back.

REX is an FPS killer

....but I heard that "UK2000 sceneries are awesome and easy on fps".  Maybe using with REX will cancel out its FPS problem.

UK 2000 byitself is wonderful, using with REX it does draw much more FPS.

I decided to install a freeware program called FSRealWX.  I have just started testing this program and hopefully this will solve my downloaded weather issues for FS9!

Thanks to everyone who commented!
