From sitting in the left seat virt cockpit view..............

 

Normally this is not a problem but 60% seems to close and 50% is a little to far..............

 

Is there any way to set the zoom percentage to 53% instead of the normal 10% increments?

 

I do not like EXdok. Is there a way to set the zoom levels to less then the 10% increments???

You could use wideviewaspect=true in fsx.cfg and then set your zoom to 1.0. I find this to be the most realistic zoom setting. Here is a link to a video that explains it:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qjbCFNSofpk

Also change the eyepoint in the aircraft.cfg file:

 

[Views]
//eyepoint= 0.6, -1.17, 1.99
eyepoint= -0.007, -1.17, 2.09

Also holding shift key will micro adjust the zoom (+/- keys)

 

 

When I was able to sit in one, the top of the dash/shade panel was level with my upper lip (26 inches from seat in my case).
