Need a VC.

I'm with you on that. Some people like 2D, some people like 3D. To each their own. I however am a 3D VC loyalist and use nothing but. This is a very good aircraft no doubt, I will certainly become a customer when the VC update is out.

Is it done yet? When will it be released? Will it be freeware or payware? How much will it cost? Any updates on the progress? Will it work for Xbox? Can I be a beta tester? How's the performance in VR?

The worst thing about 2D is, your view is locked. You cannot look at either your left side or right. Only forward. For IFR that's okay. However, when flying visuals, it is very inconvenient.

Need a VC.

Yes. There will be an update.

I own both, this one by Peter and the JAR A320.

Since I have the Peter-Bus the JAR one is hangared. I prefer a good simulated Airbus FBW logic and a good PFD over the JAR eye candy.

Whenever the VC is released I can have both.
