June 16, 201312 yr Can anyone point me to an active UK based group flying Light GA Aircraft? (FSX Direct connect not VATSIM or IVAO)
June 16, 201312 yr I thought the FSX Multiplayer facility was now abandoned? From memory, Ron Atwood on here runs a multiplayer GA group; but I'm not sure if it's all UK flying or not. I too would certainly be interested in a UK GA group, that flew on photoscenery (Horizon VFR or Just Flight VFR).
June 16, 201312 yr Author Cheers for the reply Dave,Gamespy is abandoned, Direct connect is still VERY usable. When Flying in UK I use the horizon Scenery and UK 2000 airports too.

Ah ok, cheers for clarifying. Yes, I love flying GA (Ant's Airplanes Tecnam and Eaglet particularly), across the Horizon VFR Scenery, with UK2000 and VFR Airfields too) PS.... The VoxATC 'UK Version' (with voice control) is excellent for flying with this scenery, in the UK, too. If you find a group; let me know!

June 20, 201312 yr Author Not much Interest then, but Sierra, Q400, please drop me a PM if you ever fancy some VFR flying around the UK and anyone else too, but please not unless you are interested in UK flights, there are allready many groups flying GA in the rest of the world, (I enjoy that too, but there is a massive gap to fill re: UK general aviation) Cheers for now
June 20, 201312 yr GuysYou rule out VATSIM which is a pity, as http://www.cixvfrclub.org.uk/ are a really nice bunch of blokes and there are a lot of UK GA VFR activities, not necessarily involving a VATSIM controller service, i.e. weekly 'flyins' which provide you with a number of airfields to land at. Similarly http://www.bristolflightsimgroup.org.uk/smf/index.php again a very friendly group with a lot of UK GA VFR evenings, and I think they use their own server. Boith clubs have a wide range of flying members, beginners to real world pilots with loads of hours, but all very relaxed, they like to do it right but are ever happy to help you along.I might mention www.ukvga.org too, but we are a soaring group, excuse please the plug.
July 8, 201312 yr You guys might be interested in taking a look at the Visual Flight forum: www.visualflight.co.uk/forums/forum.asp Under the VFR Flyers/Muliplayer section - we fly a lot in the UK, but not exclusively, and often fly in G.A. Dave.
July 8, 201312 yr Not sure if you are looking for a real GA group or a flightsim group. If the former you might want to check out: http://ukga.com/home/view My system specs: Intel [email protected] - 5.2 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080, 32GB DDR4 RAM, Noctua NH-D15 CPU Cooler,1TB Seagate SSD, 4TB Seagate HD, Windows 10, Asus 32 inch monitor, Saitek Yoke, Throttle Quadrant, Rudder Pedals and Trim Wheel Sims: MSFS2020 Preferred Aircraft Black Square Bonanza, and Baron, A2A Comanche, PMDG DC-6, Red Wing L1049
July 9, 201312 yr From memory, Ron Atwood on here runs a multiplayer GA group; but I'm not sure if it's all UK flying or not. Yep. The Back Country Prop Club isn't limited to any particular part of the world but we do prefer to fly in Orbx country which now includes the UK. Just join our channel on the AVSIM Teamspeak server whenever Ron is online and state your demands. Rolf Lindbom
