Hello,

At this time, i think this is the best ATC program! Really! But i have a couple small suggestions to improve them :

- ATIS, on departure is information "B", and on arrival, "D" or "E", is it possible to "randomize" the information letter? Same for the transponder code, it's allways 30XX (IFr flight).

- is it possible to add a "repeat" option? Same for request a direct enroute?

A fan of your software  B)

I'm French, sorry for my bad english 🙂

I totally agree with your suggestions 100%.

I'm not sure how often Tegwyn looks at this forum, he usually responds to emails pretty quickly, you can find his email address on the VoxATC website. If he is doing any further updates I would love to see a randomisation feature added.

I add :

- option to switch to ATIS on arrival,

I don't contact them, I think it's best we added our suggestions here, to bring together ideas for mr Tegwyn.

He must spend any time on a forum talking about his software

-An option to request local weather at airports without ATIS would be nice. Both for arriving aircrafts and aircrafts on ground.

-Adding takeoff time during the handover to departure will also be nice, and landing time when told to taxi to the stand. (ear candy)

-finally an option to request direct routing to a fix would be great...with ATC denying the request sometimes

Most of the requests are implemented in RC4.

Let me add one more (also present in RC4): Being able to ask for a specific altitude in the "Request higher/lower" function. For step climbing with a fuel-heavy ac you need smaller increments than 5000 ft.

Another add :

- TL and TL as real, and not for example 3500 for all Europe!

I almost never use the "0" menu for anything. I just ask... and it usually works. For example:

"Minneapolis Center, Landmark 272..."

"Landmark 272, Minneapolis center... go ahead."

"Request Flight level 240."

"Landmark 272 Climb and maintain flight level 240"

"Climb and maintain flight level 240, Landmark 272."

Incorrect as it may be I have also been known to jump right in with...

"Landmark 272 request flight level 240."

as the initial radio contact.

Cheers

May your Sim flights be plagued with bad weather, damaged landing gear, low oil pressure, and engine failure… and may your real flights endure none of the like.

Hi Folks, I wonder if it might be possible to start a list of the "undocumented" phrases and requests that can be made by voice without use of the 0 key . Requesting a specific altitude is going to be very useful, I never thought of trying it.

I must say I have voxatc with a few of the Ivona voices installed and it has blown me away. The immersion it brings to FSX is unbelievable,

however, here is a thought

Now the million dollar question: is it possible to get some form of editor built in or something implemented that will allow us to add a static sound effect to those 3rd party voices during playback so they actually sound like they are coming through a radio, like some of the pop voices for example.

Have it set up so the voices for ATC and Pilots only to have this feature and your co-Pilot is clear.

Hey you never know even Micro$oft Anna may even sound alright if it works.

IMO, I think that if this feature was implemented that VoxAtc would blow away the rest of the competition.

P.S. If you are using FS2Crew Emergency with the AU crew setting, the Ivona's voice called Russell is the go for your FO they sound pretty darn close.

(He just puts on his best Radio voice for the ATC ladies being the single fella he is....lol)

“Flying should not be a journey to the destination with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved Aircraft,

but rather to skid sideways in a cloud of smoke down the runway, engines on fire, passengers screaming, physically worn out, and loudly proclaiming "Wow! That was one hell of a Ride and we're on Schedule!”

Right now I am using RC4.

I am quite familiar and happy about RC4, but problem is that RC4 is dead project.

I see that VoxATC is constantly updated, so my question is : does it make sense to switch from RC4 to VoxATC ?

Artur

VoxATC has a trial period,

so give it a go and see if you like it?

Well I must say that it certainly grabbed my attention when I first got it,

But now paired with other 3rd party voices its a b%#ch-slap to the face in reality.Black%20Eye.gif

I think that the kick in the nuts as for reality would be as mentioned in my previous post and maybe have the ability have a balance

slider so you can choose either left for ATC and right for FO or vice versa. :shok:

Cheers,
