I was able to get FSUIPC working in FSX after being unable to the past few days. Although FSX loads correctly with FSUIPC installed-upon entering the 'Main FSX Menu' FSX just freezes and doesn't respond to any of my actions.

Well you see the problem is actually FSUIPC. I can run FSX fine without FSUIPC installed, but as soon as I install FSUIPC I get a DLL failure and can't start FSX. I have contacted Pete about this, but his suggestions haven't worked... :Cry:

 

I guess a fresh re-install will fix the issues I am experiencing!

I do not see a FSUIPC.dll error in your crash report and the FSUIPC.dll loaded successfully.  You can look in the Modules folder and look for the FSUIPC.log.  The log will tell you if it had any problems or not when trying to start and may provide further information about the event.  When the FSUIPC4.dll is installed, an entry is entered into the dll.xml.  Perhaps that entry got somehow corrupted.  You can open up the dll.xml with notepad and edit any FSUIPC4.dll entry by changing the following:

  <Name>FSUIPC 4</Name>
  <Disabled>False</Disabled> Change this line from False to True
  <Path>Modules\FSUIPC4.dll</Path>
 </Launch.Addon>

 

Now try starting FSX and see if the problem reoccurs.  If not, it was a corrupted entry in the dll.xml.  Look for a previous version of the dll.xml in your FSX folder (same folder that contains the Fsx.cfg).

Good to hear but now FSUIPC will not load when you start up FSX.  Not a major thing as it is not needed to run FSX.  Since FSX is starting up without any errors now, it means the FSUIPC installation got somehow corrupted.  Perhaps you moved the FSUIPC4.dll to another folder or deleted it.  Still you can fly and use FSX/Acceleration without it until you find a solution.

Not necessarily. Computers aren't Nigeria in terms of corruption - it looks like he had a conflict with a hardware device based on his posts in Pete's forum.

I have changed it back to "False" but I have found a solution to the error's I was getting, I had to remove my Razer Synapse from my computer, FSX works just the way it used to with FSUIPC installed and working great. 

 

Razer Synapse must be colliding with software that runs FSX or something. All's working now though  ^_^

Glad you got it fixed.  I have the Razer Headset and so far have not seen any problems.  I do not know why FSUIPC would crash because of your Mouse.  Strange!  Maybe a problem with the USB port.... Thanks for telling us how you fixed the problem.
