Wow, just watched a bunch of Siri videos, very impressive. Its a huge useful and helpful feature I would like to have on a touch phone since typing and text manipulation pretty much stinks on them. Too bad iphones get damaged easily and are expensive.

I recommend T-Mobile as well. They don't have the best of service but nonetheless it is VERY good. There are also no contracts so you can upgrade when you want and you can end it when you want.

The plans are very cheap but what bites you is if you buy a phone from them for the plan, they charge retail. With Verizon as an example you could get an iPhone 5 for $200 if you get a 2 year plan with that. An iPhone 5 at T Mobile is going to cost you $500+, but after 2 years, T Mobile is still a better deal than Verizon. You can also finance the phones if you'd like, so that way a percentage of it is added to your bill monthly for 2 years, and then it's paid off.

Fun toy. Gets boring after a while. She doesn't do that much.

Once you get used to the virtual keyboard, you'll love it.

The iPhone 5 is a very durable phone... Have you seen any videos about that on YouTube?

and are expensive.

The iPhone 5 is $199 on Sprint, Verizon, and AT&T with a 2 year contract, or $0 + $sumthin per month for 2 years on T-Mobile. I don't find that particularly expensive, tbh...

This. My family and I switched to T-Mobile this past Saturday and I'm loving it... Unlimited data and the service is great for me.

I love it, and it is my first smartphone too. There's definitely no going back to Verizon!

I bought a Galaxy S4 and it arrived today. However I'm buying on Amazon an SD card, a case, etc. accessories to "meliorate" the phone. Lol.

I bought a nice case for mine and we have SD cards around our house.

VeryBumpy,

Siri isn't all she's cracked up to be; after the initial 'wow' period wears off, she loses her luster. She won't understand what you're saying, or repeats something incorrectly all the time.

Aww, really? I'd like to use Siri as a tool primarily with creating emails, sending text msg, notes, finding info and scheduling calendar events.

Wish Siri was on my ipad2 so I could test it out. Darn Apple not offering the app to force sales on their latest products.

Ha, and "new & improved" updates only slow down older phones. (E.g. my iPhone 4)

My McPhone friends have reverted to making Siri say... well, this is a Family oriented Forum, after all... :Shame On You:
