August 12, 201312 yr I just installed FSX,Deluxe Edition on my computer ( Windows 7,64 bit ) after I had a nasty computer crash. FSX was not installed om the default directory as I created a special folder for it. It seems to me that on previous installations I had a folder containing many flightplans. But I cannot find them anymore and wonder if my computer still has problems. Your help is appreciated Hubert Werni Herbert Werni

August 12, 201312 yr I have the same system as you. My flight plans are installed in C:/Documents. I always back them up & store them in a different location or on a usb in case of a computer crash. I assume you know flight plans are found under Menu/ Flights/ Flight Planner. Maybe a new installation, has no new flight plans created yet! Peter Sydney Australia
August 13, 201312 yr Author Should be in the Flight Simulator X files located in "My Documents." I should clearify, the Flightplans I am looking for were not issued by me.If I remeber well ( and correct me if I am wrong ) they were included with the FSX download and there were hundreds of them. Those are missing. August 13, 201312 yr Hi, I recently re-installed FSX. I don't think the FSX install location has any bearing on where flight plans are saved. The only PLN I have is one which was created when I saved a 757 tutorial flight. When you say "included with the FSX download" I'm assuming you're referring to the FSX installation. If you, in fact, downloaded FSX from some remote location I have no knowledge of which files may have been included. Jim F.

August 14, 201312 yr Author We are going around in circles here. See post #2 Not only the flight plans are missing but there are other weird things: - No menu for add ons - FSBuild can create a flight plan but not save it. When activating FSX I am informed that I am running FSX with a limited edition since I reached the limit as to how many times I can install FSX.. Could that cause all the problems ? Has anybody experienced with "limited" edition ? In any case I will call FSX and let you know what happens. H.Werni Herbert Werni
