August 17, 201312 yr For as long as ive been flying ive gotten use to flying without jet ways in certain airports, i also have a large amount of payware airports that has jet ways but unfortunately not at every gate, Id like to know if theirs a way to add jet ways to those airports that are missing them using Airport design editor,AFX,Or Airport Studio. I know FSX allows you to move jet ways around but my concern is adding jet ways not moving them. If the above mentioned Utilities does not allow u to add jet ways is there another way besides manually adding them with Instant scenery or scenery?
August 17, 201312 yr Thanks for the plug, Echofox. B) If you want ready made jetways, I've also collected all the default FS9 jetways I could locate and put them in a couple of libraries, fs9_jetways_ss_1_v2.zip and fs9_jetways_ss_2.zip. They're also here in the Avsim library.

August 18, 201312 yr Found another one. I just downloaded John Loney's KILM scenery for FS9, and it includes a library of animated jetways. I haven't installed the scenery yet, so have no idea what they look like. John has released a bunch of objects in the public domain, so I'm guessing you're free to use these jetways, but you might want to email him and get his permission, just in case. Here's the link for the scenery... http://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?CatID=fs2004scen&DLID=178958

August 20, 201312 yr Found another one. I just downloaded John Loney's KILM scenery for FS9, and it includes a library of animated jetways. I also downloaded the scenery, and added the jetways to another airport. I see them well suited to the A320 and 737NG (the default 734 is too low). But will those jetways be compatible with something bigger? Let's say, an A330 or a 767? August 22, 201312 yr Luis, I don't think the height of Johns' jetways can be changed, but John is the only one who will know that for sure. Thanks, RJ. I enjoy making this stuff, and I enjoy sharing it. The flight sim community is, for the most part, a great bunch of folks. :drinks:
