I am now unable to close the FS2Crew Panel and non of my setting are being saved (HS, Speakers etc)

 

Any idea please anone?

For closing you first have to deselect the LK button.

What do you mean with, dont save? All settings you made are saved. Its only the HS and the LK Button which have to get selected again if you restart the main window for a new flight After a complete shutdown.

Close:  Deselect the "LK" (Lock Button).

 

HS is not saved - deliberate.  Audio Device should be saved.

 

If it doesn't save, your FS is probably not shutting down properly.

I may connect and disconnect my USB headset with FS2Crew/FSX/OS still running. This kind of handling may contribute to findings similar to those of the OP, I reckon.

Hi and thank you to everyone for the help, the sim does not shut down properly when using the AXE, never has however, prior to 1.2 the Audio and Crew Region was saved?

 

Is there an ini file I can edit so at least the Audio device and Crew Region is saved? Its no biggie just that I have a couple of extra clicks before I set up a flight :rolleyes:

You shouldn't do that, but if you can do that with no problems that's good, but generally you shoudn't.

1.2 was just a couple code edits.

 

 

Tip:  Prior to closing FSX or the Airbus, de-select the HS button on the FS2Crew Main Panel.  It might help.

I have edited the ini manually and all seems good, coincidentally I figured it was EZDok causing the sim to hang when it closed, so I have also changed my settings using the Control Panel.
