August 23, 201312 yr With Windows 8, the uiautomationcore file is essential. http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_other-gaming/vista-driver-uiautomationcoredll-crashes-flight/3e813f3f-1f61-40f5-8ae9-fbd4b3232a54 I believe this works also. I always tweak using Word Not Allowed's guide and installed uiautomation and havent a single crash since i worked out my issues with squawkbox. Chase Barnett

August 24, 201312 yr Author Well, install it ASAP then. ^_^ The free version will do. It solved all my appcrashes and FSX has been rock solid ever since I installed FSUIPC. http://www.schiratti.com/dowson.html FSUIPC is some sort of miracle tweak. ^_^ I only installed FSUIPC to get rid of crashes and I don't use it for anything else. Install it and forget about it. Thanks. Where do I get the free version? Or do I download this version and just not register it? Jehan Kateli
August 24, 201312 yr Thanks. Where do I get the free version? Or do I download this version and just not register it? That's exactly correct. I don't use any of the utilities but bought and registered it because the developer found a fix for the infamous g3d.dll error many of us were getting. It definitely prevents the g3d.dll crash but not in all cases. I do not know of any other types of crashes it might prevent. Best regards, Jim Jim Young | AVSIM Online! - Simming's Premier Resource! August 27, 201312 yr Commercial Member Do you have Aerosoft's "US Cities: San Francisco"? That takes up a enormous amount of texture space, and not well optimized at all. KSFO airport itself doesn't even have HD textures, and shouldn't be taking you to OOM territory
August 27, 201312 yr Author OK, guys, I think the stability has improved after following your instructions. I managed to do a whole circuit around SF in the NGX without a CTD (which was previously impossible), but when I clicked on "Instant Replay" from the FS Recorder menu, it crashed. However, there was no "fsx.exe has stopped responding" error message this time - it just quit. Jehan Kateli
